Autumn

Trees that look like they're on fire
And coloured leaves that flutter down
In the breeze coming from distant yonder.
Happiness spreads, faces are bright
Wild animals prepare for cold months
And migratory birds take flight.
Pumpkin patches are everywhere
And as Halloween gets nearer
A distinct thrill hangs in the air.
Nights are longer, with shorter days
Coats and scarves can be seen
Amid fallen leaves and glowing fires.
Through months of Winter, Spring, Summer
This is the time we await
The greatest season is finally here!
